New blog
Woah, I suddenly realised I’ve left this blog for dead without telling you guys that I have a brand new blog! Or, I was reminded by another person about it, to be precise…
Anyways, here’s my new blog: www.espenbaklid.blogspot.com
Don’t be surprised if I delete this blog sooner or later.
Thanks for following, commenting and liking.
Cheers,

121/365: Oswald & Lewis

Diedrich Bader and Ryan Stiles as Oswald and Lewis from the TV show The Drew Carey Show.
Some thoughts and decisions
I’m considering to stop this project as it has become more of a burden than a motivator.
This whole thing started as a new year’s resolution. As I’m fairly ineffective and unproductive when it comes to drawing, added to the fact that I have a huge list of ideas I want to do, I thought this was the solution - drawing at least one drawing each day for a whole year.
In theory, I felt this was a good idea, and it started out well, but I’ve fallen behind massively. Besides, I want to protect my drawings a bit better, maybe by putting a watermark on them and not share them everywhere on the internet (no offense to Tumblr though, it’s a fantastic site).
A new idea I’ve come up with is to do what other freelance caricaturists have done - making a blog to create a community of other artists and get feedback by showing their work.
I’ll post a link here when and if I make that kind of blog. And if I am to stop posting on this blog, I want to say thanks for following me and/or liking my different posts.

120/365: Artist’s block

119/365: Emerson Fittipaldi

118/365: Poupée de cire, poupée de son

The dangerously catchy tune that won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1965. The song was sung by France Gall representing Luxembourg.
117/365: Dunga

Good excercise on my tablet, though this is one of the less exaggerated portraits I’ve done.
116/365: Skrtel clears the ball vs Italy
For those who know what Martin Skrtel looks like and watched the game between Italy and Slovakia will get this one. I hope.
115/365: France is over and out

I hope I don’t need to explain this one.
114/365: Royal wedding

Not a particularly good one, this. It’s a challenge to get people spot on with only black and white in this way. You can read my judgement on my own efforts here.
